1. A material created by reinforcing nylon resin with a certain quantity of glass fiber. Both long fiber reinforced nylon and short fiber reinforced nylon, which are frequently used in gears, bearings, fan and pump blades, bicycle and car industry parts, fishing equipment, and certain precision engineering items, are made of glass fiber reinforced nylon.
