Coace® B1P is a maleic anhydride modified polypropylene with low melting point and high grafting rate. One kind of functionalized polypropylene that has undergone chemical modification using maleic anhydride is called maleic anhydride modified polypropylene, or MAPP. Maleic anhydride is added to polypropylene to improve its compatibility with polar materials and to create reactive sites for additional chemical modification.
