Advantage
  • Enhanced Compatibility: By encouraging interfacial adhesion and enhancing the compatibility between various polymer components, KS-03 functions as an efficient compatibilizer. It makes homogenous blend structures possible, which enhances the mechanical qualities and overall performance.
  • Enhanced Mechanical Strength: KS-03 improves the alloy’s mechanical strength by maximizing the interactions between the polymer phases on the interfacial plane. It produces materials with increased toughness and endurance by improving characteristics including tensile strength, flexural strength, and impact resistance.
  • Better Thermal Stability: KS-03 has outstanding thermal stability, which allows it to endure the processing temperatures that come up during the blending and later fabrication stages. Long-term stability of the alloy is improved by this stability, which also limits alloy degradation and guarantees consistent performance.
  • Functionalized Structure: The molecular structure of KS-03 is functionalized, which allows it to interact with various polymer matrices. The alloy’s overall performance is improved by its special structure, which encourages compatibility and effective coupling between the blend’s component parts.
  • Reactive Groups: KS-03’s reactive functional groups help to promote interfacial adhesion by facilitating chemical interaction with the polymer phases. The alloy’s long-term stability and mechanical qualities are improved by this covalent bonding process.
  • Versatile Compatibility: PC/ABS, ABS/PET, PA/ABS, and PA/ASA mixes are just a few of the polymer alloys with which KS-03 is intended to work. Because of its adaptability, it can be used in a variety of industries, including consumer products, automobiles, electronics, and appliances.

Application

1.To be used as compatibilizers for PC/ABS alloy,ABS/PET alloy,PA/ABS alloy,PA/ASA alloy.

2.To be used as coupling agent for ABS、AS with infill materials, such as fiber glass, talc, etc.

Qualities of the Application:

PC/ABS Alloy: KS-03 works very well in PC/ABS alloys as a compatibilizer. It leads to improved mechanical characteristics and thermal stability by strengthening the compatibility between the acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) and polycarbonate (PC) phases. Because of this, it is perfect for use in consumer electronics, electronic enclosures, and car interiors.

The coupling agent KS-03 facilitates the adhesion between the polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) phases in ABS/PET alloys. It improves the alloy’s mechanical strength and heat resistance, making it appropriate for usage in home appliances, automobile components, and the electrical and electronics industries.

PA/ABS Alloy: For PA/ABS alloys, KS-03 is a compatibilizer that enhances the compatibility between the acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) and polyamide (PA) phases. It improves the mechanical, thermal, and chemical resistance of the blend. Because of this, it can be used in industrial equipment, automobile parts, and electrical connectors.

PA/ASA Alloy: In PA/ASA alloys, KS-03 is also utilized as a compatibilizer to enhance the compatibility between the acrylonitrile styrene acrylate (ASA) and polyamide (PA) phases. It improves the mechanical characteristics, chemical resistance, and weather resistance of the blend. Because of this, it’s perfect for external applications including electrical enclosures, building materials, and exterior car parts.
