Products Description

 

COACE’s W510 is a graft containing glycidyl methacrylate functional groups, polyolefin elastomer as the base material, high reactivity, low residue, with white to white translucent granular appearance.

W510 grafts GMA onto the side chain of POE molecules, making the side chain of POE molecules carry polar functional groups. During the toughening and modification process of polyester, the epoxy on GMA can react with the ester group on the polyester molecular chain to connect them together, helping POE to disperse in polyester and form an island structure, thereby achieving polyester toughening.

Combining glyidyl methacrylate functional groups with a polyolefin elastomer as the matrix material, the Highly Reactive Polyester Toughening Agent is a graft copolymer Highly reactive design of this new formulation guarantees strong interfacial adhesion and compatibility with many kinds of substrates. Consequently, the material produced improves the general performance of the composites it is included into in addition to strengthening them. This product has a high grafting rate and can significantly improve the impact properties and alloy compatibility in polyester materials. It is suitable for the compatibility and toughening of PBT, PET, PC and their alloy materials.
