Products Description
K2B is an anhydride modified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, which offers excellent adhesion to foil, paper and other polar substrates.
K2B’s excellent adhesion properties make it well-suited for use as an adhesive in composite materials that contain metal-plastic panels, multi-layers, and other polar substrates. Its ability to bond to a wide range of materials, including foil, paper, and other polar substrates, makes it a popular choice for use in composite structures.
Composite materials are commonly used in a variety of industries, including aerospace, automotive, and construction, due to their lightweight and durable properties. Adhesives like K2B are used to bond the various layers of these composite structures together, creating a strong and resilient final product.
By using K2B as the adhesive in composite structures, manufacturers can ensure that the various layers are securely bonded together, resulting in a high-quality and long-lasting final product.

- High Strength: The exceptional bonding strength of these adhesives allows them to efficiently link various composite construction components. They offer uniform load distribution throughout the bonded region and structural integrity.
- Flexibility: Because adhesives made for composite materials are flexible, they can absorb stresses and strains that arise during use. This adaptability contributes to the bonded structure’s long-term performance by preventing cracking and delamination.
- Chemical Resistance: The formulation of composite structural adhesives protects against exposure to a range of chemicals, such as solvents, fuels, and corrosives. They guarantee the integrity of the connection over time by retaining their adhesive qualities even in challenging conditions.
- Temperature Resistance: These adhesives are resistant to high temperatures, They are resistant to heat cycling without letting the binding integrity slip.
Advantage
K2B is a type of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer that has been modified with an anhydride compound. This modification enhances the copolymer’s adhesion properties, making it particularly effective for bonding to polar substrates like foil and paper.
Ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers are commonly used in a variety of industries, including packaging, adhesive, and sealant manufacturing. By modifying the copolymer with an anhydride compound, the adhesion properties of the material can be improved, allowing for better bonding to substrates that would otherwise be difficult to adhere to.
It is a versatile and effective material for bonding polar substrates, and it has found widespread use in a variety of applications where adhesion is crucial.
