Coace® B1P est un polypropylène modifié par l'anhydride maléique avec un point de fusion bas et un taux de greffage élevé. One kind of functionalized polypropylene that has undergone chemical modification using maleic anhydride is called maleic anhydride modified polypropylene, or MAPP. Maleic anhydride is added to polypropylene to improve its compatibility with polar materials and to create reactive sites for additional chemical modification.
