BP-1 is a maleic anhydride functionalized polyester elastomer, which can be fully degraded by itself. It is mainly used to improve the performance of polyester degradable materials compatibility.

Products made of polylactic acid offer the benefits of gloss, transparency, hand feel, and heat resistance in addition to being biodegradable and recyclable. Polylactic acid (PLA) may be used for dinnerware, packaging materials, textiles, nonwovens, and it also has some antibacterial, flame retardant, and UV resistant qualities.
