Coace® B1P ist ein mit Maleinsäureanhydrid modifiziertes Polypropylen mit niedrigem Schmelzpunkt und hoher Pfropfungsrate. One kind of functionalized polypropylene that has undergone chemical modification using maleic anhydride is called maleic anhydride modified polypropylene, or MAPP. Maleic anhydride is added to polypropylene to improve its compatibility with polar materials and to create reactive sites for additional chemical modification.
